Will have to call it a happy December; have our oldest son, the Lt. Col. from the USAF home for a week. Needless to say he and dad are busy with "guy things" such as running wires and finding out what makes things tick................hmm, I should take this time to go cut some quilting out, ah, alas, I remember now, my studio is "just there", its not framed in yet and is definitely colder up there than down here in front of the wood stove. Perhaps I will borrow part of the living room for awhile. After all, I could use the precut kits or the foundaton piecing or drag out my gold bag of "surprise scraps". Or I could just go read a book.
Am so glad that Part 1 of the journey south is over. A couple more and we will have everything all in one place. Finally.
Guess I will go quilt, so anyone wanting to do the same, join me.

I'm SO glad you started your blog so that I can share your new adventure. You know.... the adventure of the next chapter in your life, and Jerry's.
When Don and I did much the same as we closed one chapter and started another, we were scared, energized, excited, curious, scared, happy, scared.
Now, looking back after four years, we wish we'd made the changes in our lives several years sooner.
I'm happy for you two.
Now then, when the stripes everywhere have been obliterated, get Jerry upstairs to work on your studio. Oh, I'll need s small spot to set up a machine up there, too. Yep. Don't forget that.
