The sun is shining and the kitchen painting job is done! Am sure son is glad of that, as he was the chief painter. I had the hard decision, picking out the color. The new house had a prolificly busy wallpaper design, made worse by application directly to the drywall, so no removal. We learned a lots about Kiltz along the way and how expensive the cute blue tape is!

We have been having fun learning the city and visiting friends of our son, along with him. The tiny tree went up today with its single "White House Christmas" ornament (gee, wonder who is connected to the white house?) and red and white bows. Will put a picture in a future post.

We have a Christmas Dinner invitation, but the chore of Christmas Cards for all of those who don't know we have moved, still looms ahead of me, yet undone. Since the Address Book did not get packed with the first load, some will not know we have moved until next summer (grin)

The sewing machine table is set up now, so soon I can close the door and hide for awhile during football games and such. The dogs are getting used to the horses out back and not barking quite as much.
