Still debating the fate of the eagle, I turned to making scrap material, "trash quilts" as they are called; there is a certain point of satisfaction into turning those tiny little pieces into real fabric, although one does make a mess of the living room, which is the warm room of the house, and is soon over run by the ironing board, the thinking board, the sewing table, rows of fabric and boxes of itty, bitty scraps begged off my quilting friends who think I am off the wall when 2 x 2 is an acceptable size for a scrap. I'm down to fingernail size, I like a challenge. Will have some pictures of some started pieces tomorrow. Today I am going to make you miserable by showing you the ice storms of Arkansas (I thought this was the South)......................ticia unable to sleep with quilt pattern designs and ideas popping in and out of her head..................all chele's fault, it is. I bet I still have quilting strings hanging off my jacket!
At any rate, have to go buy more thread tomorrow and some of that dreaded see thru thread for the stippling. Of course, I have forgotten how, but that's irrelevant, right!

I'm trying to image you making that wonderful eagle in the middle of the chaos that must surely exist at your house. You just moved! Are you unpacked/ Say it ain't so!
